Computer and Laptop Packing Instructions
Transporting electronic equipment such as computers and laptops requires maximum protection due to their high value and sensitivity to shocks. To ensure safe and damage-free delivery, Speedpack only accepts computers and laptops packed in their original manufacturer’s packaging.
Accepted Packaging
- βοΈ Only original packaging from the manufacturer is accepted.
- βοΈ The box must include internal styrofoam or foam inserts designed specifically for the device.
- βοΈ The original box provides protection for delicate components such as screens, ports, fans, and internal drives.
- βοΈ Packaging must ensure stability and absorb shock during handling and transport.
Why Original Packaging?
- Tailored fit ensures the device does not move inside the box.
- Original inserts prevent vibration and absorb shock.
- Proper outer cardboard and inserts reduce the risk of crushing or corner damage.
- Ensures better scanning and labeling during automated sorting.
Important Guidelines
- Do not pack computers or laptops in generic boxes or bags.
- Do not wrap in only stretch film or bubble wrap without a solid box.
- Do not send loose devices, even if wrapped β all electronics must be securely boxed.
- Include all accessories (power cables, chargers, etc.) within the original box or securely packaged alongside.
What We Do Not Accept
- β Laptops or PCs without original internal protection.
- β Devices shipped in soft cases, bags, or fabric sleeves.
- β Homemade packaging or boxes without proper cushioning.
- β Open or partially closed boxes.
