TV and Monitor Packing Instructions

Televisions are extremely delicate electronic devices that require special protection during transport. At Speedpack, we only accept TVs packed in the original manufacturer’s packaging – the same packaging used when the item is purchased in-store.

Accepted Packaging:

  • Original manufacturer’s box
  • Protective styrofoam inserts that stabilize the screen and edges
  • Fully sealed box with contents fixed firmly inside

How to Properly Prepare Your TV for Shipping

1. Check the Condition of the Box:

  • The box must be undamaged, dry, and sturdy.
  • We do not accept boxes with tears, holes, moisture marks, or makeshift repairs.

2. Secure the Contents:

  • Place the TV into the original styrofoam inserts.
  • Ensure there is no movement – the screen must be firmly immobilized.
  • Do not add loose accessories (e.g., cables, remotes, mounts) – they can damage the screen. If included, they must be placed in designated compartments.

3. Seal the Box:

  • Close the box according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Seal all edges with strong packing tape – especially the top and bottom.

4. Label Clearly:

  • Attach the address label in a visible location.
  • Do not cover it with additional paper or film that may detach.

Not Accepted

  • TVs without original packaging
  • TVs wrapped only in stretch film or blankets
  • Packages without internal styrofoam inserts
  • Boxes from other devices (e.g., microwave, monitor, home appliances)
  • Boxes that are not the correct size – the TV must be stable and snug inside

Why Is This Important?

During transport, parcels are transferred, sorted, and stacked. Even with careful handling, a TV that is improperly packed cannot be guaranteed safe. TV screens are sensitive to pressure, shock, and impact – only original packaging with proper inserts can provide reliable protection.

Thank you for following these guidelines. Proper packing ensures your TV arrives safely and in perfect condition.
