Travel Bag and Suitcase Packing Instructions
Transporting travel bags requires specific packing rules to ensure the safety of the contents and other shipments. At Speedpack, we accept only travel bags that are securely and thoroughly wrapped in stretch film. Please note: suitcases are strictly excluded from transport.
Accepted Packaging β Travel Bags
1. Use thick stretch film:
- The entire bag must be tightly and generously wrapped in stretch film.
- Wrap multiple layers (at least 5β6) to protect the bag from tearing, opening, or being damaged by other parcels.
2. Secure all zippers and pockets:
- Close all compartments and zippers before wrapping.
- Tape over any loose straps or buckles that may catch or snag during handling.
3. Apply address label clearly:
- Attach the shipping label directly on the film in a visible spot.
- Use transparent tape over the label to protect it from peeling off during transit.
4. Contents:
- Pack the bag as full as possible to prevent it from collapsing during stacking.
- Do not place fragile items, liquids, or electronics inside travel bags for transport.
Not Accepted β Suitcases
- Speedpack does NOT accept hard or soft suitcases for shipping.
- Suitcases can easily be damaged due to stacking and mechanical sorting.
- Even with foil wrapping, they are prone to breaking or opening under pressure.
